JANELLE AND JAYE MITZNER founded this division of Mitzner Farms in January of 2012 after making the decision to retain their two 4-H heifers as reproducing females. Since then, Mitzner Show Cattle has grown from two heifers to a herd of forty purebred and commercial cows.
WE ARE SO GRATEFUL for the endless amount of advice and support we have received along this journey from fellow breeders, without whom we wouldn't be where we are today. We take great pride in "paying it forward" and passing along the knowledge we have acquired over the years to new 4-Hers and juniors, just as our fellow breeders did with us.
OUR HERD CONSISTS OF the genetics of our past show heifers that are now producing outstanding prospects for future products. Their calves have been extremely successful both in the show ring and in production. If a calf is not sold through Mitzner Show Cattle, we keep them on the farm to be an asset to Mitzner Meats.
SHOW CATTLE ARE AVAILABLE in the fall for sale at a first come, first serve basis. We are looking forward to the program expanding and hope for continued success in the future!
